So I recently graduated my self employment class and got Shelby in good navigable condition both on land and sea. One of our stockholders is a movie producer and just filmed us on June 1st, 2014 in the video on the main page. The producer camera phoned some videos of us having fun and his camera man filming us. |

On February 11, 2014 I just had to video tape the sunrise with Shelby, where Mission Creak runs into the ocean. I didn't ride her into the water that day but it was fun riding her around the neighborhood. Today is April 9, 2014 and Angel is anchored about 400 yards away from the spot of the video. I should be able to ride Shelby from the spot above, right on out to Angel. On February 11, 2014 I also started a self employment training class with W.E.V. and I've been having successful entrepreneurs of Santa Barbara teach me how to build a business the right way. On May 21, 2014 I graduated my self employment training class and took Shelby the 0001 Carrera Board to the Montecito Country Club for an exhibition. My friend Chris did some photography and my friends John and Walt were along to lend support. The self employment training class and the unveiling of Shelby turned out to be pretty successful. The video above on the right is at the Montecito Country Club and shows how effortlessly Shelby gets around. |

The first video above shows Carrera riding Shelby into the water for the first time on November 13, 2013. Seeing a five-year-old girl safely launch an amphibious board by herself made me confident that I can build a kid safe product. That was also the day that the amphibious surfboard idea became Carrera Board. From that point forward when people would ask, "What is that?", I reply, "A Carrera Board." They still say, "What?" The second video above is me riding Shelby under her own power for the first time near the tide line in Santa Barbara's Harbor. Notice the foot action. The 2 videos below are of Shelby the Carrera Board being Christened twice in 2012 before I got an iphone. The video on the left is of Shelby the dog and Shelby the Carrera Board up in Big Bear. Soon after that video I had to put Shelby to sleep which pretty much caused my whole life to fall apart. Kind of got things together now. The video on the right is the first Christening of Shelby the Carrera Board. It was too hot to bring along Shelby the dog and I felt wierd Christening the Carrera Board without the dog present. That is why Shelby the Carrera Board got to Christenings. |
